After finding a job opening, 64% of candidates said they research the company online, and 37% said they will move on to another job opening if they can't find information on the company. That's why companies need to be transparent about their values, compensation packages, and benefits to attract top talent.


In addition, it's crucial for companies to show appreciation for their employees. The number one reason why employees quit is a lack of appreciation at their current job. In fact, 79% of employees who quit claimed this was a major reason for leaving. Employers need to make sure they're showing gratitude and recognition for their employees' hard work and dedication.


But it's not just about the company - it's also about finding the right fit for you. 81% of employees would consider leaving their jobs for the right offer, and 89% of Glassdoor users are either actively looking for jobs or would consider better opportunities. That's why it's important to find a company that aligns with your values and offers the work-life balance and benefits that you're looking for.


Referrals are also a powerful tool in the hiring process. They're 5x more effective than all other sources of hiring, and 46% of employees hired through referral programs stay for three years or more, while only 14% of those hired through job boards stay. So, if you know someone who works at a company you're interested in, don't be afraid to ask for a referral!

Finally, with the rise of remote work, it's important for companies to offer work-from-home options. According to recent data, 37% of job seekers say that work from home options are somewhat important, and 18% say they're extremely important. As the world becomes more digitally connected, remote work is becoming more common, and companies that don't offer this option may struggle to attract top talent.
